My story

Hi, I'm June (이주은), the person behind Kkachi Post.

One day my grandmother asked me: 'Do you take good photos?'

I'd been sending her a photo here and there through messaging apps, but I realized that's just not the same as something you can hold in your hands. So I had some printed and brought them to her. Seeing how happy she was, I knew there was something in that slow, analogue exchange you can't get any other way. I wanted other people to feel that too, and that's how Kkachi Post started.

Most of us have thousands of photos sitting on a phone, never reaching the people who'd love to see them. We made the smallest service we could think of for getting a few of them out: pick your photos, type an address, and we print and post.

In Korea, the magpie (kkachi) is the bird that brings good news. That's what we're after: turning a few everyday photos into a small piece of good news someone can hold.

What arrives is an envelope with a real print inside. Something you can hold, prop on a shelf, or stick to the fridge.

From the founder

KakaoTalk isn't easy for my grandma, so I built this to get my photos to her in a way that feels a little closer. I hope it reaches the people who matter to you, too.
Yours, June

What we care about

1

Real prints

Properly printed on paper that feels good in the hand.

2

Three steps

Pick photos, type an address, place the order. That's it.

3

A letter card, included

Every Kkachi Post comes with a printed message card, free. It makes the photos feel even more like a gift.

Want to send one?

One photo is enough.
